About Gaurav Mehta

Gaurav Mehta, an 'accidental' watch manufacturer, is the visionary behind India's first Micro Luxury Watch Brand, Jaipur Watch Company.
After pursuing a master's degree in risk management from Nottingham University Business School, he briefly operated an insurance brokerage firm. However, his true passion for watches and coins led him back to his childhood love. In 2013, Gaurav combined his interests and established Jaipur Watch Company, headquartered in Jaipur.
With a unique approach, the brand crafts luxury watches using craftsmanship from coins collected during the British era, blending tradition and luxury seamlessly.
Recently, the founder was also seen at Shark Tank, India, pitching his startup in front of eminent sharks.
